(FR) SACRAL NIGHT est né des centres de SANCTUAIRE et est méné par Florent Brunet-Manquat aka Amphycion.

Sur leur 1er EP « Darkness Process », les grenoblois nous présentaient une musique extrême avec des rythmiques black metal, certaines parties death metal (Florent joua dans Necrowretch) mais avec une volonté d’inclure des parties heavy metal sombres à la MERCYFUL FATE.

Leur 1er album (2019) vit un changement de musiciens, exit Antoine et Michael et se fut Florent qui prit le micro. La musique évoluait avec une volonté de l’agrémenter de plus de mélodies propres au heavy comme sur le splendide titre « Ancient Remains » mais l’ensemble restait ancré l’extrême même si moins brut de décoffrage que leur 1er EP.

Les années de pandémie ont du laisser le temps au leader du groupe pour définir et concrétiser la prochaine étape à atteindre par SACRAL NIGHT, la prochaine marche à gravir et le moins que l’on puisse dire à l’écoute de ce 2nd LP, c’est que ce n’est pas une marche mais 2 ou 3 marches que les musiciens ont enjambé .. et haut la main tant ce « Le Diadème d’argent » est d’un niveau incroyable et une sacrée mue par rapport à ses prédécesseurs, grandement aidé par ee retour d’Antoine au chant et l’arrivée d’ Aymeric Mallet à la guitare solo , fantastique guitariste dont on avait pu apprécier l’immense talent au sein de SILVER MACHINE (live) et STONEWITCH.

Le quintet foulera pour la 1ère fois les terres Marseillaises bien décidé à vous gagner à leur cause.

(EN) SACRAL NIGHT was born from the ashes of SANCTUAIRE and is led by Florent Brunet-Manquat aka Amphycion.

On their first EP “Darkness Process”, the people from Grenoble presented us with extreme music with black metal rhythms, certain death metal parts (Florent played in Necrowretch) but with a desire to include dark heavy metal parts à la MERCYFUL FATE.

Their first album (2019) saw a change of musicians, exit Antoine and Michael and it was Florent who took the microphone. The music evolved with a desire to embellish it with more melodies specific to heavy like on the splendid title “Ancient Remains” but the whole remained anchored in the extreme even if less crude than their 1st EP.

The years of pandemic must have given the leader of the group time to define and concretize the next step to be reached by SACRAL NIGHT, the next step to climb and the least we can say when listening to this 2nd LP, it is that it is not one step but 2 or 3 steps that the musicians have spanned.. and hands down as this “The Silver Tiara” is of an incredible level and a real transformation compared to its predecessors , greatly helped by the return of Antoine on vocals and the arrival of Aymeric Mallet on solo guitar, a fantastic guitarist whose immense talent we had been able to appreciate within SILVER MACHINE (live) and STONEWITCH.

The quintet will set foot on Marseille lands for the first time, determined to win you over to their cause.
